A money market account pays higher interest than a savings account and allows you to write up to three checks and make a total of six withdrawals per month.
Money market deposit accounts that we offer are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and should not be confused with money market mutual funds. The latter are not insured or guaranteed by any government agency or financial institution, no matter how or where their shares are sold.
You can open a money market account at Arsenal with a minimum of $2,500. Interest is paid monthly based on your average daily balance:
|Tier 5||$100,000 or more|
No interest is earned on balances less than $2,500.
