The Visa TravelMoney Card is a prepaid, reloadable Visa debit card that offers a safe and convenient alternative to traveler’s checks and cash.

This card gives you the flexibility to:

• Prepay balances to make budgeting easier.
• Use it anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.
• Spend up to the value loaded on the card.
• Get cash at ATMs worldwide.
• Use a preselected or customized PIN for purchases.
• Reload funds up to three times at the credit union, by phone, or online.
• Carry up to two additional cards that access the same funds for someone else to use or for safekeeping.

Visit www.cashpassport.com to locate Visa ATMs and transfer additional funds to your card from your checking account or credit card. You can also check your balance and change your PIN or by calling 1.888.713.3424 in the U.S. (There is a $.50 fee to check your balance by phone or at an ATM.)

ACU Members can purchase a Visa TravelMoney card for $7.95 and nonmembers can get one for $10.00. Purchase additional cards that share the same balance for $2.00 each.

How does Visa TravelMoney work?
You can preload your Visa TravelMoney card with a balance of $250-$9,999. Each time you make a purchase, the amount of that purchase is automatically deducted from the card. Since a merchant may not be able to tell how much money is on the card, keeping track of your balance is a sure way to know how much you have to spend.

How do I use Visa TravelMoney at an ATM?
The Visa TravelMoney card can be used at Visa/PLUS ATMs around the world. ATM functionality varies among financial institutions and countries. To get cash at an ATM, you should first follow any on-screen directions. If asked which account to access, try selecting “checking,” and if that does not work, use “credit.”

What if my card is lost or stolen?
Contact Arsenal Credit Union immediately. We will need your card number to cancel your card and issue a new one, so make sure you've kept the card information in a secure place that is separate from the card.
